Toyota sells the most expensive model produced in Argentina

It is a limited edition produced in the Zárate plant and sold at 1,223,700 pesos. Toyota presented a special series of its sports utility produced at the Zárate plant, the SW4 Diamond.

This new version is based on the equipment of the SW4 SRX 4x4 6A / T with 7 seats, and incorporates specifications to offer greater comfort. 


The SW4 Diamond is equipped with 1 GD engine that corresponds to the new series of Toyota GD engines (Global Diesel). This engine, 2.8-liter 4-cylinder in line with 16 valves and DOHC with distribution chain, has TGV (variable geometry turbocharger), intercooler and Common-Rail electronic direct injection. Eroga 177 hp at 3400 rpm, 450 Nm between 1600 and 2400 rpm in automatic transmissions.

In terms of safety, it has ABS with electronic braking force distribution (EBD) and 4-wheel ventilated brake discs, emergency braking assistant, emergency braking lights, active traction control, stability control, trailer roll control, hill start assistant and slope descent assistant.

As a differential, the Diamond SW4 incorporates a front guard and the darkened chrome grille, along with a new design of 18 "diamond wheels give the exterior of the vehicle a more robust image.

The SW4 Diamond came out to the market at a value of $ 1,223,700. It also offers a transferable 3 year or 100,000 km warranty (whichever comes first).
