Toyota Hilux Revo

Toyota will suppress diesel engines in all its passenger cars in Europe

The car industry reacts to the increase in demand for electric vehicles although manufacturers such as Seat still see diesel. The Japanese firm has explained that the decision to permanently banish diesel in the passenger cars of Toyota sold in Europe is due to "the strong demand" that has hybrid versions of its main models.

One of them, the Auris, has been presented in Geneva in its third generation , which will have a combustion version of gasoline and two hybrid versions. It will be manufactured from next year in Burnaston, in the United Kingdom.

This model will be offered with a petrol engine of 116 horsepower, while it will also have two hybrid variants: one of 122 horses, similar to the one that is mounted on the Prius and the C-HR, and one of 180 horses .
